In a series of interviews of local Eastern Shore residents during 1970 to 1973, former Salisbury University students and professors collected local legends. For this collection, all stories recorded occurred at the Merry Sherwood Mansion also known as the Dunwandrin, located in Berlin, Maryland. These stories are about strange events that happened there as well as the collection offers a brief history of the estate. Most interviews include personal descriptions of the interviewer and informant, and the story.
